Dr. Nayyar Razvi is a licensed physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and 
Surgeons of Ontario. He earned his MD from the University of Ottawa in 1998 and completed Family 
Medicine residency at McMaster University. From 2000 to 2014, he practiced as an Emergency 
Physician at William Osler Health System, serving in high-acuity environments and during the SARS 
pandemic, where he contributed to clinical care and protocol development.
In 2002, Dr. Razvi co-founded and operated a network of urgent care clinics across Ontario, 
overseeing operations, physician hiring, and clinical SOPs. In 2011, as Medical Director at 
Appletree Medical Group, he led Ontario’s first large-scale telemedicine program in collaboration 
with the CPSO. This initiative significantly expanded virtual care access and revenue generation 
across the province.
In 2012, he served as subject matter expert in developing the world’s first accredited Telemedicine 
Technician Training Program at Sheridan College, which launched a new category of allied digital 
health professionals. In 2013, he co-founded MD Matrix, a physician-led telemedicine platform that 
supported virtual specialist care and remote wound management, demonstrating financial and 
clinical scalability.
Dr. Razvi has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry, helping revise SOPs following regulatory 
inspections. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led infection control implementation in a busy 
clinical setting, maintaining safety and service continuity.
He currently owns and operates a medical clinic in Ontario, integrating digital tools, structured 
intake systems, and interventional pain management. He provides medicolegal assessments and 
serves as an Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University, contributing to clinical 
education and chronic disease management
