Chetan brings deep experience as a growth and expansion-stage investor and in healthcare operations to Archetype as its Managing Partner, CIO, and CEO. Chetan holds prime accountability for investment decisions and performance for the Archetype Funds. Chetan has been the driving force behind Archetype’s strategy and growth since its inception. His vision for investing — centered around a belief that the due diligence model in private investment could be vastly improved — is the basis for Archetype’s overall structure. Chetan began his career in New York as a management consultant for ZS Associates, where he worked primarily in sales and marketing analytics, specializing in the pharmaceutical space. He returned to Philadelphia when he received the opportunity to help accelerate growth for a family business. Chetan scaled the company in his role as a consultant and investor, which led to its acquisition.

This exit created the liquidity event that enabled Chetan to found Archetype. Chetan has seen success as a growth-stage private investor since he departed from ZS. This success led to the formalization of Fund I in 2019. Chetan earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from Columbia University.
