Dr. Shoaib Al Zadjali is the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at University Medical City and serving also as Head of Research Laboratories at the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre (SQCCCRC) for six years. Prior to this, he spent 20 years as a molecular biologist in the Department of Hematology at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH). 

Dr. Al Zadjali holds a bachelor’s degree from Sultan Qaboos University and completed his master’s and PhD degrees in Paris, France. Throughout his career, his work has focused on translating research discoveries into clinical practice and advancing innovations from bench to bedside for the benefit of patients. He has introduced several diagnostic tests in Oman for the first time and has authored more than 60 scientific publications in the fields of hematology and solid tumors.
