Oman Health Exhibition and Visit Oman Sign MOU to Advance Medical Tourism in Oman
Muscat, Oman 18th August 2026 - Oman Health Exhibition has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Travel Operator LLC (Visit Oman) to establish a strategic partnership supporting the “Treat in Oman” initiative and promoting Oman as a destination for medical and health tourism.
Under the agreement, CONNECT, organizer of Oman Health Exhibition and initiator of the Treat in Oman initiative, and Visit Oman, the digital tourism platform supported by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism under the National Tourism Strategy 2040, will collaborate to increase awareness of Oman’s healthcare and medical tourism offerings and strengthen their reach among international travellers and agents.
The partnership brings together Oman’s healthcare and tourism sectors to create greater visibility for the country’s medical tourism potential and connect international audiences with healthcare and travel opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman.

As part of the MOU, Visit Oman will serve as a Strategic Partner of Oman Health Exhibition and support the Treat in Oman initiative through a range of digital and promotional activities. These include the creation and year-round maintenance of a dedicated Treat in Oman webpage on the Visit Oman platform, homepage visibility linking to the initiative, three dedicated promotional email campaigns, and four LinkedIn posts highlighting Oman Health Exhibition, with Treat in Oman featured as part of Visit Oman’s participation.

Oman Health Exhibition will support Visit Oman through strategic branding and dedicated visibility across the exhibition’s official website and marketing materials. Visit Oman will also receive a complimentary 6 sqm shell-scheme exhibition booth within the Treat in Oman Pavilion, providing a dedicated platform to engage with healthcare and tourism stakeholders participating in the exhibition.
In addition, Oman Health Exhibition will publish an official announcement across its social media channels, distribute a dedicated announcement email to its registered database, and ensure that relevant mentions of Treat in Oman across its email communications are hyperlinked to the initiative’s landing page.
The MOU reflects a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between the healthcare and tourism sectors and positioning Oman as an attractive destination for medical tourism.
Through this strategic partnership, Oman Health Exhibition and Visit Oman aim to promote greater international awareness of Oman’s healthcare capabilities, facilitate connections between global travellers and local healthcare and tourism providers, and contribute to the development of the country’s medical tourism ecosystem.
