Oman and Philippines sign Health MoU
On May 22, 2025, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of the Philippines signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Geneva to enhance cooperation in the health sector. The agreement, signed by Oman's Minister of Health, Dr. Hilal bin Ali al Sabti, and his Philippine counterpart, Dr. Teodoro Herbosa, aims to facilitate the exchange of information, expertise, best practices, health technology developments, primary care mechanisms, and medical equipment. It also includes provisions for sharing scientific research and studies, leveraging human resources, and enhancing development activities of mutual interest to build capacity in the health sector. This MoU is expected to expand medical cooperation and strengthen healthcare strategies in both countries
