    Muscat, Oman, 12 April 2020—Businesses are facing a challenge they would not have dreamed of over a year ago—that of coping and keeping up with the rapidly changing business landscape as a result of COVID-19.

    Responding to the need to inform businesses and uphold its commitment to continue to provide useful, relevant, insightful, and practical information about developments, trends, innovations to the industries it serves, Omanexpo will host its first webinar "Steering a Business through COVID-19" from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 20.

    The interactive webinar will feature talks from Dr. Fatma Al Yaqoubi, Head of TB and Acute Respiratory Diseases Section, Directorate General for Disease Surveillance and Control, Oman Ministry of Health; Dr. Marie-Louise Van Eck, Regional Medical Director, International SOS; Mohamed Nayaz, Partner, Africa, India & Middle East (AIM) Advisory Services, MENA leader for Resilience Services, Ernst & Young (EY); and Craig Ceppetelli, Executive Director (Interim), Office of International Collaboration, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and will culminate with Q&A sessions after each presentation.

    The speakers will share insights on how to mitigate COVID-19 risks within workspaces; mental health and resilience during a pandemic; and strengthening business continuity and resilience to disruptive events in the MENA region, among others.

    Muscat, Oman, 10 September 2019 - The ninth edition of Oman Health Exhibition and Conference is slated for September 23 to 25 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.

    In a press conference at the Crowne Plaza Muscat on Tuesday, officials of Omanexpo and representatives of the Ministry of Health addressed a media gathering, formally announcing the details of the upcoming show.

    Recognized as Oman's biggest healthcare event, Oman Health Expo will welcome more than 100 exhibition companies from about 13 countries, who will showcase the best of the industry products, services, equipment and technologies representing hospital and medical infrastructure, medical supplies and healthcare services to an anticipated 4,000 visitors from the business, government, private and public sectors.

    The associated free-to-attend three-day conference sessions will be presented by a qualified lineup of highly esteemed health and medical experts, who will discuss the health workforce and safe practice environment, human resources in health, health labor market trends and dynamics, patient safety, risk and performance management. The two-day workshops designed for medical specialists will also be a free-to-attend affair. The sessions are accredited by the Oman Specialty Board (OMSB).

    The organizers have also ensured a more worthwhile visitor experience by offering free medical consultations with specialists from some of the biggest clinics, hospitals and healthcare providers in Germany, Iran, India, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia and Turkey.

    Muscat, Oman, 4 August 2019-Influential leaders and policy makers from Oman's health and medical sector met with officials of the biggest exhibitions and conference organizer Omanexpo for Oman Health Exhibition & Conference 2019. The meeting was held on July 17 at the Crowne Plaza Muscat.

    The meeting was organized in preparation for the upcoming ninth edition of Oman Health Exhibition & Conference, the Sultanate's largest healthcare event, with the aim of gathering strategic and technical insights on current key issues, challenges and opportunities in Oman's health and medical sector and helping shape new solutions to meet the sector's dynamic requirements.
