CONNECT has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Health Tourism Development Centre of Islamic Countries (HTDC), marking a significant step forward in strengthening Oman’s position as a growing hub for health and medical tourism.
The partnership supports the upcoming Oman Health Expo 2026, reinforcing both organisations shared commitment to advancing international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sector development. Through this agreement, the two entities will work closely to enhance global participation, increase international visibility, and create stronger connections between healthcare leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
This collaboration is expected to play a key role in accelerating the growth of Oman’s medical and health tourism ecosystem, while facilitating greater delegate engagement across major regional and international platforms.
The Oman Health Expo 2026 will take place from 21 – 23 September 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), bringing together healthcare innovators, investors, and decision-makers to shape the future of healthcare and health tourism in the Sultanate and beyond.
