In many emerging regions, access to structured academic resources and expert networks is critical for building sustainable healthcare systems. CN1699, a global medical knowledge platform, continues to provide long-term support through its MDLA Digital Library and WeMed collaboration initiative, currently deployed across more than 70 countries.
Through its partnership with Connect, CN1699 extends this academic infrastructure to audiences in South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, fostering multilingual content access, expert exchange, and digital academic engagement.
In addition to media collaboration, CN1699 supports medical library system deployment at universities, library donation programs, academic event participation, and international cooperation between hospitals and academic institutions. These efforts align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, particularly in digital education and global academic connectivity.
Today, CN1699’s library services are present in over 50 countries across Asia and Africa, offering year-round access to structured content for students and researchers. The collaboration with Connect is expected to enhance resource-sharing initiatives and strengthen connections between Oman-based pharmaceutical and medtech brands, medical research bodies, and academic institutions.
